Tim Holtz just released a set of 5 embossing folders that are based on designs that were released in the past. These new folders have been updated to have a little more dimension than the originals, but if you happen to have the originals, you might not need these. However, for those of us (myself included) that didn't get them the first time around this re-release is a wonderful opportunity!
To create the background I used the Vault Airmail Embossing Folder. I embossed a piece of white cardstock and then rubbed Fired Brick and Faded Jeans Distress Ink Pads over the embossed design. Quite honestly I was just playing around and wasn't expecting to use this as a card background, but when I was finished playing I really liked it! I then finished it off with some layered of cardstock and die cut pieces that added to the theme.
