Before I get into the new video and card I want to share with you that my next LIVE class is now available. Stretch Your Die Cuts is coming Saturday, April 12th at 12PM EST. You can learn more and get your ticket by clicking the link below.
STRETCH YOUR DIE CUTS CLASS
This class is designed for anyone who is interested in learning more about taking your die cutting to the next level while combining it with mixed media. Throughout the class you’ll learn multiple ways to combine dies with inks, sprays, paints, embossing powder and more to create a variety of unique effects and help you get the most from your dies and die cutting machines. Each technique is broken down into easy to follow steps.Throughout the class I’ll be sharing loads of tips and tricks as well. Whether you’re new to die cutting and mixed media or a seasoned pro, there’s something for everyone. Along with the background techniques, you’ll also learn some ideas on how to finish the cards.
The goal of this class is to boost your confidence in using your dies and die cutting machines for a variety of mixed media techniques and to feel comfortable incorporating them into your paper crafting projects.
I also share this option at the end of the video. For this card I used a mix of Tim Holtz stamps to do my own collage stamping instead of using the Tim Holtz Hodgepodge Stamp. And for the the die cutting I used the Vault Wildflowers Die Set instead of the Vault Floristry Die Set.
