Hello there! I'm still in Halloween crafting mode and I just completed my take on a Fluffy Grunge Halloween Journal, inspired by the talented Luise Heinzl. If you aren't familiar with her, she is a junk journal and digital printable paper designer and creator and also a fellow Maker for Tim Holtz. Make she you check out her YouTube channel for loads of inspiration! She created a Fluffy Grunge Halloween Journal for the recent Tim Holtz Halloween Idea-ology release and my mind was blown away when I saw it and I knew I had to create something similar. From the front to the back cover and every page in between I was so inspired. It was also a great excuse for me to use up all of the Tim Holtz Halloween Idea-ology that I seem to hoard every year!
Below, I'm sharing a look at the Fluffy Grunge Halloween Journal I created. I've also put together a flip through that you can view over on my YouTube channel where I share a bit more about the journal and how it came together.
I don't got into much detail on all the techniques however, because I followed a lot of the techniques Luise shared in her videos. She has a playlist of videos on her YouTube channel where she shares how she created everything from the cover to the inside pages, so make sure you check those out. Because of this, I didn't see the need to rehash it all myself. Also during the process of making this, I wanted to just enjoy the making process and not have to worry about filming everything.
After I filmed the flip through, I thought it might be nice to have some still photos for reference if you are wanting a closer look at the cover and inside pages. And of course, if you do have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

THE COVER
Here you can see the cover I created. I was greatly inspired by the one Luise created. Above the door is open so you can see the witch who has been locked away and below the door is closed.
