Newton's Nook Designs September Release | Day 1

Hello friends and welcome to Newton's Nook Designs September Release! The season of thankfulness, turkey and pumpkin pie is drawing near and Newton's Nook has you covered with 2new stamps sets and 2 new stencils. Keep reading to check out the cards I created with these new goodies and then make sure to leave a comment for your chance to win one of these new stamp sets!

Happy Thanksgiving Card | Newton's Cornucopia Stamp Set

To create this card, I stamped the images and then colored them with Copic Markers. Next, I used the coordinating Newton's Cornucopia Die Set to cut out the colored images.

For the background, I die cut a piece of cardstock using the grass die from the Land Borders Die Set and then ink blended it with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink. I then layered this onto a piece of white cardstock die cut using the stitched rectangle from the Frames & Flags Die Set. I then layered it all onto a piece of patterned paper and then onto a white card base.

Pumpkin Pie Card | Newton's Thanksgiving Stamp Set

I'm a huge pumpkin pie fan, so I couldn't resist creating a little scene with the images from Newton's Thanksgiving Stamp Set. I stamped and colored the images using Copic Markers and then die cut them using the coordinating Die Set.

To create the background, I used the new Pumpkin Patch Stencil. I inked it up using Distress Oxide Ink in Carved Pumpkin and then die cut it using the stitched scallop die from the Frames and Flags Die Set. I then added a banner with the fun sentiment..."There's always room for pie!" and added another piece of pumpkin pie! One can never have too much pie, right?!
