Before you leave though, I created a couple of cards to give you some inspiration and ideas on how to use the stamps and dies in the kit. Also, make sure to check out all the details on how to enter to win a $50 gift certificate to the Gina K Store. All the details are down below.
For my first card, I stamped the leaves onto white cardstock and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder. To give them some color, I ink blended them with a mix of Distress Oxide inks in Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber and Peeled Paint. For an extra touch of distress, I splattered them with a little bit of water and dabbed it dry. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out before adhering them to the card.
The sentiment is also from the set and I also heat embossed it with gold embossed powder as well. I used the coordinating die to cut out the large stamped "friend" and then adhered it with double side foam tape for a bit of dimension.
For this second card, I stamped the images onto white cardstock and embossed them with white embossing powder. I then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I blended them using a water brush to give them a watercolored look.
The sentiment is again from the Stitched Leaves set and I used the coordinating die to cut out the "thankful".
