When it comes to Easter nothing makes me happier than a Peep. I love to eat them and even use them to decorate my Easter table. So you can imagine how delighted I was when I saw the March Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. The kit contains an adorable coordinating stamp and die set that is totally peep-a-licious! This was my first time to buy one of their kits and with it, I was able to make all my Easter cards this year.
Today, I'm going to share with you four different Easter cards I created with the kit along with a link to a tutorial on the Therm O Web blog on how I created a shaker box card.
For this first card, I stamped and colored the bunny peeps and then adhered Doodlebug glitter in a matching color using Glossy Accents.
On this card, I once again colored in the peep and added some glitter to the bunny and I also used this same technique on part of the sentiment.
Of course, I had to use the fabulous sequin mix that comes with the kit and create some Easter Shaker Cards. You can see a full tutorial on how I created the shaker box part of this card on the Therm O Web blog.
For the final card I have to share today. I used one of my favorite stamping techniques - Watercolor with White Embossing and Distress Inks. I stamped the peeps with clear Versamark ink pad, heat embossed the images with white embossing powder and then watercolored them using Distress Inks.
Here is a peek at all the goodies that come in the March Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you are inspired to create some of your own Easter cards using your crafts supplies or the SSS kit.
