Any one who knows me really well, knows that I love Mexican food! One of my favorite things to eat is stuffed poblano peppers and I usually only get them when we go out to eat. Last year, I decided to try making them at home and loved how they turned out. The fried versions are still my favorite, but after almost having a major mess involving the grease, I knew that I needed to find a different recipe for making them at home. That is when I came across this awesome Stuffed Poblano Peppers recipe from the Cottage Mama. It was really easy to make and I didn't almost catch the house on fire!
I created this Too Good layout to play along with the Scrap Our Stash September Challenge. I'm very happy to share that I'm this month's Guest Sketch Artist! Along with the fun challenge - use 3 School Supplies on your layout - I also created a sketch for everyone to use. I invite you to head on over to the Scrap Our Stash blog and check out all the great details about the challenge and this month's prize!
To play along with the challenge, I really had to dig into my stash and put my thinking cap on to find some school supplies that would work. Since we don't have children, we don't really have a lot in the way of school supplies in the house, but I was able to come up with 3 supplies that I think fit the challenge perfectly.
1. Graph paper - I found an entire pad of it in my stash and I'm pretty sure I'll be using it again in the near future!
2. Paper clip - Yes, it's gold, but it sure is pretty!
3. Crayons - Last but not least, I used a green crayon to draw a border of little stars all around the outside edge of my layout.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll play along with this month's Scrap Our Stash September Challenge. I can't wait to see what you all create based on the sketch and challenge!
Such a fun layout! Love the stash items you used!
