Hello and Happy Monday! I don't know about your weekend, but mine flew by! Nothing too exciting, but it was full of time spent together with Danny and Lincoln. Today, I'm sharing a gift box that I created for the July issue of Scrapbook Generation's Create Magazine.
Each month they share a fantastic card sketch and challenge some of their designers to create something other than a card with the sketch. I was one of those designers for this issue and I inspired to create a gift box!
For the gift box itself, I used an A2 Card Box from SRM Stickers. I then covered the front and back panels with pieces of patterned paper from the Jillibean Soup Sew Sweet Sunshine Soup collection. (Say that 5 times fast!)
To further embellish the box, I added some Jillibean Soup Sew Sweet Pea Pod die cuts, wood veneer and Sugar Picks along with some SRM Sticker Stitches and a SRM Stickers Sentiment. The final touch was hand tied burlap bow!
If you've never checked out the Scrapbook Generation Create Magazine, then I invite you to do so! It is available to download for free and is published bimonthly. Their next issue is coming out in September and I just finished working on a couple of projects that will be in the next issue. Here's a little sneak peek of one of my layouts created using some yummy new goodies from Echo Park, Tim Holtz and EK Success.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!
Super sweet!
