Hello Puppy Love Scrapbook Page | New 17turtles Digital Cut Files

Happy Hump Day everyone! I hope your week is going along well and that your finding some crafty time in you schedule. Today, I'm sharing a new layout that I created about our new puppy Lincoln. I used one of the new 17turtles Digital Cut Files called Let's Play.

The Let's Play set contains a fun border and 4 titles. There are two great things that I love about this set. The first thing is that the border comes with 3 hearts that you can cut out separately from a different paper. This is what I did on my layout. I layered them over the border for a fun pop of color and added texture.

The second thing I love is that with the titles you can flip the arrow so that it points the way you want it to go. Once you decide on it pointing left or right you, you can then center the word of your choice in the middle. I wanted to give you this option, because I often find that when there is a word with an arrow, the arrow always seems to be pointing the wrong way to go with my design. Now that problem has been solved!!!

I started with a plain white cardstock background and added some splatters of color using a variety of different Heidi Swapp Colorshine Spray Inks.

As I mentioned, I cut the hearts from the Let's Play Cut File out of different paper. I then attached them to my layout using my sewing machine, but I think it could be fun to adhere them with a little mini stapler too.

Here's a peek at all of the new cut files that have been added to the 17turtles Shop today! Along with the Let's Play file that I used, I have also added a Heartfelt Background that comes in both an 8.5 x 11 and 12 x 12 size within the same file.

Those word cut files are YUM...especially that you can flip 'em! BRILL idea:) And the stitched hearts. NICE...AND the whole design. PERFECT:) Do you think I like this one, just a little???!!! You'd be right!!!! Actually a LOT;)
