Did you know that there are only 89 days left until Christmas? That means that you have less than 3 months to get everything ready for this special holiday, including making your Christmas cards. I love making Christmas cards for my family and friends. We don't do a lot of gifts any more, so this is something that I can make and "give" them that adds a touch of love and joy to the holiday season. Today, I'm sharing two Christmas cards that I created using the new BoBunny Candy Cane Lane collection. This might seriously be my most favorite Christmas collection ever! The colors are absolutely fabulous - slightly non-traditional but still full of merry and bright! It also has a nice vintage/retro feel with some of the art work - especially the adorable Santies!
The images on these 2 cards are cut from the Candy Cane Lane Snowflake paper.
I then layered the cut outs with papers from the Candy Cane Lane 6x6 Paper Pad. For the Merry and Bright card featuring Frostie, I embellished it with a sticker sentiment, jewels and a button from the collection.
On the Wishes Christmas Card, featuring Santie, I added some doilies and sticker sentiments. I also used the BoBunny Stitches Stamp to added a "stitched" border to the card front to mimic the stitching on the cut out.
Have you started making your Christmas cards yet? Hopefully these cards will give you some ideas and inspire you to get started if you haven't!
