Today is an exciting day! I have my first 17turtles Guest Designer sharing some scrapbook layout inspiration with you using some of my new 17turtles Digital Cut Files. I was thrilled when my dear friend Katrina Hunt, from Paper, Scissors & Glue, offered to guest for me and knowing her like I do, I wasn't surprised that she wanted to use some of my new dog themed cut files! I totally adore what she created, and I'm sure it will inspire you as well! And make sure you visit her blog to see a beautiful butterfly thank you card that she created. Now, let's hear what Katrina had to share about her layout and the cut files.
I was so excited that Juliana asked me to Guest Design for her using some of her new 17turtles Digital Cut Files. I knew I had to use the dog themed "Puppy Love" file for a layout and the "Bone Sweet Bone" cut for my title!
Because of the color of the papers and the way I used them, I created an offset for my title to make it stand out more. It's a great thing to do, if you want a little more "umph" to a cut file.
I used the bone frame as a place for Jetson's name. I just tucked it over my paper, like a bookmark! And those circles are from the "Circles Within Circles" file and yeah, I LOVE them! I cut them under 1.5 inches. They cut wonderfully, and I even had a somewhat old mat and blade!
Thanks Juliana for letting me play along!
