I love creating home decor pieces, especially when I am making them as a gift for someone. Today, I'm sharing this altered wood letter that I made as a birthday gift for my niece. She loves anything pink and flowers, so I knew that decorating the letter with quilled flowers would make her happy! I created many of the quilled shapes on this project using the new 3 Birds Quill Ease Quilling Tool. For more details on how I created this piece, you can visit the 3 Birds Blog. If you are interested in purchasing the Quill Ease Quilling Tool you can find it on HSN.com. Also, if you have any questions about this tool or this project, leave me a comment below and I be happy to reply.
I also want to share with you that I am up on the 3 Birds Studio blog today with another Altered Wood Letter. This week we are sharing projects that we created using Xyron adhesives and 3 Birds Design products. Our friends at Xyron generously donated 9" Creative Stations and 3" Sticker Makers to each of the design team members. These are fabulous tools for turning just about anything into a sticker! For my project, I am sharing a tutorial on how I used the Xyron Creative Station to help me cover the wood letter with patterned paper. I created a letter "C" this time and it is going to be a birthday present for a new friend of mine. I sure hope she likes it!!!
I'd love for you to stop by and visit the blog to see my tutorial. And while you are there, you can enter to WIN one of two awesome prize packages from Xyron and 3 Birds Design!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think about this project. Then I can come and visit your blog too!
Absolutely Amazing!!!
