Just a quick post today. This week has been crazy with trying to finish up my scrapbook room makeover! Between bad paint, Milo's passing, a visit to my Dad and a vacation, it has been a slow process and has taken much longer than I had anticipated. But that is just the way things go sometimes and you have to roll with the punches! Saturday, my sister and her family are coming into town to visit for week, so things won't be slowing down anytime soon!
Back to my layout...I created this page using the new Shine collection by Elle's Studio for the June Design Team Gallery. This one is pretty simple, but sometimes simple helps keep the focus on the photo and that is exactly what I wanted to do with this one. This photo is of me and Danny with the friends that we went to Mazatlan, Mexico with last August. When I was looking for a title to use, I knew I wanted something about friends or friendship. When I saw the phrase "Friends Make Happiness Happen", I knew I had found the perfect title to capture my thoughts and feelings! We really had a great time and we really miss them!
I added a few die cuts from the Elle's Studio Shine collection and trimmed a few strips from the Shine Good Times paper before stitching it to the background paper. I added a few sprinkles of Dylusions Ink Spray in White for a touch of fun. This is my new favorite purchase! The white stays white, even after it dries!
Thanks for stopping by today! I will be sharing a full post soon on my scrapbook room makeover!
