Since we have been celebrating the Paper Bakery's 2nd Anniversary this month, it got me in the mood to create a card and gift card holder that would be perfect for any celebration, including a birthday or even a graduation! I used the June Scrapbook Kit - Bayside High to create my set.
I used the super fun sheet of green glitter cardstock and die cut some stars from it using my Silhouette. I attached some of them on the gift card holder as you can see, along with a bit of ribbon and flair. The gift card container is actually the glassine bag that all the kit goodies was in when my kit arrived! I just love to re-purpose and re-use things like that! And the yellow striped piece is from the Elle's Studio packaging!
To keep the holder closed, I tied a couple lengths of the awesome neon yellow thread that comes in the kit around it. It can then be easily slipped off to get inside at the gift card.
So after I cut the stars, I had this really cool negative piece that I just could not let go to waste, so I trimmed it down and used it on my card. I then added some Glossy Accents and pink glitter to a couple of the UMWOW Studio chipboard stars and more of that fabulous neon yellow thread!
Thank you for stopping by and make sure you head over to the Paper Bakery for more inspiration and to download our FREE cut files that are available for everyone this month! Enjoy!!!
