Free Cut File | Polar Grid - 17turtles Juliana Michaels

I have had this photo of my niece for almost a year and a half. I have looked at it a million times and put it right back in the box. I have been waiting for those "perfect" papers to scrap it. Please tell me that you know exactly what I mean when I say this!!! Last Monday I went scrappy shopping as part of a little birthday present to myself and I bought some papers and embellishments from the new My Mind's Eye collection called Find Your Wings and Fly. It just screamed to be used with this photo! I had finally found the "perfect" papers!!! I was inspired to create the design for the layout for the Elle's Studio Sketch Thursday challenge for 5/9. I loved the sketch and all the fun circles. I could not however, bear to cut the photo into a circle. Sorry, but I'm not ready for that just yet!

I used several of the Tidbits from the Day to Day and You and Me collections as well as some fun veneer pieces from Freckled Fawn and American Crafts!

I also made a fun little cut file that I used as one of my circle layers. You can download it for FREE!!!

I saw that Elle's Studio sketch and was afraid to cut my pics into circles too - your layout turned out great! So fun! Aren't you glad you waited til you found the perfect papers? ;)
