A Sympathy Card

Sometimes as you peruse the world wide web you see something that is exactly what you are looking for at that very moment. I recently had this happen to me as I was looking for a sentiment for a sympathy card. My cousin had just passed away and I wanted to make a sympathy card for my Aunt. I have to admit, this was a new one for me. I just haven't done this even though I have had other opportunities when this would have been a nice thing to do. This sort of thing is always difficult and I just didn't know what to say on a card. I decided that this was no longer going to be a good enough excuse, so I went searching and came across a beautiful card with the perfect sentiment on Tammy Hobbs's blog

"May each new day ease the burden of your sorrow."

She used a stamp for her sentiment, but I didn't have it so I created mine using my computer. I printed it, figured out where to place it and then cut out the label shapes with my Silhouette. It took a little practice to get things lined up, but in the end it worked out just fine.

Supplies: Little Yellow Bicycle, The Twinery

Thanks Tammy, so very much, for your inspiration!!! And thank you for your visit and comments!!!
