Bo Bunny ClearSnap Blog Hop!!!
You may have arrived here from the ClearSnap Blog, but if you didn't, make sure you stop back by there and check them out. We are having a blog hop beginning today and ending on April 27 featuring Bo Bunny and ClearSnap products. This is a short hop, but it is full of loads of inspiration and amazing prizes!!! For your chance to win a fabulous Bo Bunny prize package, make sure to leave a comment at the bottom of this post!!!
This is a list of the other stops along the way:
Juliana Michaels - you are here
Here is the layout I created using Bo Bunny Mama-Razzi2 and one of their new mid season releases called Trail Mix, along with some awesome products from ClearSnap. The photo I selected is of my step mom taking photos of a pair of eagles. During a visit this past January to see my Dad, we went to Fort Donelson hoping to maybe see some eagles. We got really lucky and were able to see a mated pair...and they were only about 200 yards away! My step mom is an avid wildlife photographer (she especially loves birds) and was in heaven when she saw how close we were able to get to them. She probably took a 1,000 photos or more!!! I don't have the camera or the lens that she has, so I wasn't able to get any close up photos, but I was able to capture this photo of her doing the thing she loves! You can only imagine how excited I was when I saw that awesome eagle die cut in the Trail Mix Noteworthy pack. I immediately knew this was the perfect photo to use it with!!!
As for the ClearSnap products, I used their awesome Glue Gloss to add Winter Frost Glitter to the Chipboard pieces and the Eagle from the Noteworthy pack. This glue comes in a tube that reminds me of lip gloss!!! It is so cute and cool all in one!!! It is a simple way to add liquid adhesive and you don't have to worry about too much coming out because of the type of applicator.
Another element I was using the Bo Bunny Mama-Razzi2 filmstrip stamp. I stamped it using the ClearSnapTop Boss Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed it with Top Boss Black Embossing Powder. I then trimmed along the side of each strip, inked the edges and then tore off the top and bottom edge to give them more of a tape like look.
I also applied some Stephanie Barnard Spray Ink in Banana and Chocolate to the layout. I removed the applicator from the bottle making sure some ink was dripping along it and then I blew the excess ink onto my layout. The larger drops of ink were achieved by letting the ink drip off the applicator. Spray inks always scare me a little because they land where they want, but I still had fun playing with them!!!
