On the Bo Bunny blog today, we are spotlighting two of the new CHA releases Surprise! and Family Is.... I choose to work with the Surprise! collection because it went perfect with a group of photos I had on my desk from my birthday last year. Danny surprised me with a Keuring coffee maker and these photo are proof of that!!! And I must say, I LOVE that thing!!!
I had fun creating the background paper for this layout. I took the Surprise! Stripe paper and added some texture by applying Glass Bead Gel Medium by Liquitex over The Crafter's Workshop Punchinella stencil. (This stuff is super cool and I want to thank by dear friend Robbie for sending this to me!!!) Once this was dry, I added some spritz's of Dylusions Ink in various colors. I then used mixed some some molding paste with white acrylic paint and added more stars and texture using the same stencil. You can't really see the beads with the photos, but I promise it adds such a cool texture in real life!!!
I did a TON of fussy cutting for this layout! I cut out the balloons, the title and all the banner pieces. Then, I used my sewing machine to stitch around each of the banners. Yes, this took forever, but creating this layout was so much fun!!!
I used my fave double sided can't-scrap-without-it foam tape to adhere all of the fussy cut pieces. I also did a little stamping with Ranger Archival black ink and an old Bo Bunny stamp from their Blast Off collection.
I hope you enjoyed taking a peak at this layout! If you want more inspiration for the Bo Bunny Surprise! or Family Is... collections, make sure you stop by the Bo Bunny blog!!!
