Happy Halloween!!! Do you have any fun Halloween plans or have you already done your trick or treating? I have two projects to share with you today. The first one is a layout I created for Bo Bunny and the second is a flower pot witch! I am going to start with the layout first. We were asked to create a Halloween layout or project for Bo Bunny and I had been holding onto this particular photo of me to scrap. I did not have any of Bo Bunny's Halloween collection left from last year, so I knew I was going to have to step outside the box and get creative! The one collection however that I knew I definitely wanted to use was the Enchanted collection. With its black & white color scheme and distressed and glittered patterns, I knew it would be perfect! I then dug through my other collections and pulled out colors and patterns that seemed like Halloween to me. Anything orange, purple, green and black was put into the possibility pile. I finally settled on what made it onto my layout.
I also loved getting to use the new Bo Bunny Blossoms for the first time! Aren't they just gorgeous?! And I love all the colors and styles they come in!!! Another interesting technique I used to create some of my flower centers was to remove the center of the Serenity Trinkets (it looked like a small jewel) and replaced them with the top of a glitter brad. I simply used wire cutters to remove the prongs on the brad to make it easier to attach them.
I had fun creating the other embellishments for this layout. I cut the spiders from black cardstock using my Silhouette. I then applied a layer of glossy accents and while it was still wet, I sprinkled a combination of fine and chunky black glitter on them. Once dry, I adhered them to the layout using double sided foam tape for more dimension.
I also added glossy accents to the letters on the title sticker, however this doesn't show up too well in the photos.
If you want to see some more amazing Halloween Bo Bunny projects, make sure you stop by the Bo Bunny blog to see what the other designers created. You are sure to be inspired!!!

And finally, here is the flower pot witch I mentioned! I created this cute little witch using a variety of Echo Park papers and that large jewel on the front of her dress is a trinket from the Bo Bunny Smoochable collection! I created her based on a similar project that I created in the past using a small clay flower pot and wooden ball. You can follow the basic instructions HERE. I simply altered the papers and design a bit to create a witch instead of an angel and here we are...a cute little flower pot witch!
Thanks as always for stopping by!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN HUGS!!!
