I love using sketches and I love creating them too! Today I have a layout I created based on a sketch I made for Bo Bunny. The sketch and layouts created by myself and some of the other Bo Bunny designers were posted on the Bo Bunny blog this past Friday. You can see more HERE.
This is my take on the sketch. I am sure some of you might wonder what came first? The layout or the sketch? For me the sketch always comes first and then I am inspired to create my layout. I just love these photos of my niece from her dance recital this past spring. At the time I really wondered what papers I would use with them since she had on an outfit that was black and red. I put them to the side and decided they would probably have to wait awhile to be scrapped. Little did I know that Bo Bunny would design this gorgeous collection called Serenade that would be PERFECT for them! As soon as I saw this collection I knew what photos I would be scrapping with it!!!
I fussy cut the flowers and then layered them with 3M double sided foam tape to give them more dimension. The bling was then added to the center of each flower. I also popped up the "simply beautiful" sticker using scrap chipboard and the double sided tape.
Here is the sketch. I followed it pretty closely other than adding the layers of papers and Noteworthy pieces behind the photos.
HUGS!
