I recently subscribed to Tim Holtz's blog and I had no idea how much inspiration I was in store for! It's seems like every time he posts I find some technique that I can't wait to try. Well his recent March tag technique definitely inspried me, but instead of a tag, I choose to use this technique on a layout. I didn't have all of the supplies that he used, but I did have Grungeboard and the Glossy Accents. I made do with what I had on hand to do the rest. I would love to get my hands on some of that Cement embossing powder, but the Ranger White Enamel powder I used seemed to work just fine. I cut the Grungeboard using my Cricut. I used masking tape to hold it in place on the cutting mat, cut it with the Deep blade and multi-cut it 3 times. I also used some new Jillibean Soup along with a bit of some older stuff too!
Thanks TIM for the fabulous inspiration and thank YOU for stopping by!
HAPPY HUGS!

Fantastic mosaic butterfly! It's good to know that it looks great even without the cement embossing (at least when you do it!;-) I know what you mean about Tim. I just recently took the plunge (around Christmas because a few of the bloggers I followed were talking about his 12 Tags of Christmas) and I am so totally impressed with how much I learn with each and every post! Thanks so much for sharing your creation!
