Letter Envy & The Move

Today is Hello Thursday in Cricutland and I have a fun project I created for the new cartridge called Letter Envy!  I made this altered frame piece for our new house.  I choose the particular colors and patterns because they match the awesome wall colors in the house.  There is not one room I want to repaint!

I used Lilly Bee's Memorandum papers and Teresa Collins Flocked Paper, which is part of her Timeless collection, for the detailed image.  This cartridge is full of surprises.  Yes, as the name implies it has some awesome fonts however it also has some great images as well!

Make sure you stop by the Cricut Blog to check out all the latest cartridges and the fabulous projects created by the design team. Make sure you leave a comment for your chance at a $100 Cricut.com credit!

Speaking of our new house, here is a photo of it!  I love how old it is!!! Hopefully I will continue to love that about it!

And here is my new scrappy room. It is a sun porch area and look at that wall color!  Doesn't it look like Cricut green?!

Here it is starting to come together a bit more, but still very far from being completed.  I will keep you posted on my progress!

Thanks for stopping by!
HAPPY HUGS!

  2. You have a lovely new home. Enjoy it and the fact that it's not a new one. The older homes are better built and have character in their structures.

  5. Oh love your project and LOVE your house - awesome! That sun room is just going to be a perfect place to create. SOOO jealous of being happy with the paint situation - we are already in our "dream" home for 12 years now and thinking of downsizing now that the kids are making noises of growing up (???) and I'm in the process of repainting most of it so we can put it on the market. Not fun!

  14. What an amazing home. I love older homes. They have so much character that you just can't replicate. I love all the natural light in your new scrappy room. I am in the basement as well, so not much nat. light either. Cute frame!! I may have to lift your idea and do something similar. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

  17. This looks divine (of course my fav color is green)! but love all that light (my house is a bit dark because the shades I put on windows so that the sun won't shine too much on the hot hot weather we get here)-- Congrats!
