I am jumping up & down!!!!
hybird experiment & more!
first off i have a layout i did for the october sketch challenge at ACOT! loved the sketch! i flipped it around & used the label shape instead of the circles. you can check out more about the challenge at ACOT. i used my fun ribbon technique again. if you have any questions about how to do this please don't hesitate to ask! next off is my first hybrid LO using the amazing Amy Teets Designs Grab Bag 5! you can get it at ACOT. i printed out the patterned papers, the photo mat & the flowers. i pop dotted the patterned paper circles & the title letters. when you open up the little index card under the photo there is a letter to myself that is to be opened & read in 5 years! this was inspired by Challenge #32 at the Design Experiment.

my latest fun stuff
using up some old stuff & just playing around with my new Hambly goodies! love those little bicycles! i was also inspired by the october contest at Magistical Memories! here are the details...
I'm a little late in my inspiration, but I really enjoyed watching the Olympics and appreciating the amazing talents of those athletes from all over the world. So in their honor, I thought it would be fun to have a contest using circles (representing the Olympic emblem) and bronze, silver or gold content.
Your project can be a layout, card, altered item or mini album. Just use circles and include at least one medal color (bronze, silver or gold). It isn't necessary to make a "sports" oriented project, any subject will work. Oh....and don't forget to add at least one piece of chipboard!
The contest will run from October 1 through October 31. Upload your projects into the contest gallery at www.magisticalmemories.com.
there are lots of fun things going on in this LO that are difficult to see. i wanted to share some of what i did with you...

- the background paper shape was made using a paper by Lil'Davis
- i cut out every other square on the Scenic Route grid paper
- i doodled little white dots all around the edge of the KI paper
- the chipboard circles are "colored" with a silver leafing pen
- and i have come up with the most fun way to make ribbon folds. apply super sticky double sided tape to the length of ribbon then start sticking it down and bunching it as you go. it works wonderfully!
toot!!!

here is more of my work using Scenic Route's Sonoma for CMK... just like i promised! i still have enough left to make a few more things! i already have some ideas!!!
the title for this LO was inspired by challenge #37 at OLW...KEEP.
the large title letters are SR letter stickers placed on chipboard, cut out & then sanded to match the letters on the "lucky me" sticker. i put the sticker on the back of a piece of SR chipboard that i liked and inked it brown then placed a punched scallop circle behind it.
i added Jenni Bowlin letter stickers, Kaiser bling and thread.
journaling is written around the large circle...
Everyday I think about how lucky & blessed I am to have you. You make me happy, you make me smile. Your love is always there. God has truly blessed me. Lucky me to have your love.
this is a metal wall hanging i bought at HL and then covered with Sonoma! i just love it & it is going to be hanging in my kitchen! i am so in love with this creation right now!
have a great one!!! TFL!!!!

sonoma
by scenic route! this has to be my all time favorite scrapbook line. i love everything about it! our sponsor this month at CMK is Scenic Route & here are some of my projects...
this one was inspired by Challenge #30 at The Design Experiment. it's actually last weeks challenge, but i guess better late than never. the question...what is the soundtrack to your life? are there certain pieces of music that define moments for you? for me it was our wedding song...at last! love that song!!! good memories!!! lots of layering & paper cutting going on here ! this LO was inspired by the Pencil Lines sketch #105. stuck to it pretty much, but had a ton of fun with all the distressing. the circle is actually holes in the paper made with a needle stuck in ink to make them more noticeable. i made my own border punch with scallop scissors & 2 different size hold punches. and i played with some glitter & embossing powder. lots of fun!these are just some cards. cards are not my thing, but i try!
i still have one more LO & an altered project to share...hopefully soon!
TFL & have a great one!
